O Grady was an old school bumder/panto dame. I thought he was witty, charming and good fun. Bit like Julian Clary really.

Thought the Battersea dogs home programmes he did were the best things he's done. He was just himself in those and the whole thing was brilliant because of that.

My missus used to work with a women who’s daughter was a vet at Battersea dogs home. She said he was a genuinely nice bloke and often got upset about the condition of some of the dogs that were brought in.

O'Grady was a gay man. Even in the early part of his career, when he was the drag queen Lily Savage, he was overtly a man dressed up as a woman.

I can see no reason why anyone would refer to him as they/them

Top bloke was Lily and many a dog owes a happy existence to him and his highlighting of battersea, so RIP.

Re: Paul Ogrady
I'm annoyed that some non entity drag queen gave a tribute to Paul O'Grady but used the pronouns they/them when talking about him!!!

Even his own husband used the pronouns he/him so why is this bloke not doing the same?

I don't get the sense that O'Grady was bothered by pronouns.

Re: Paul Ogrady

Psychopathy is characterized by diagnostic features such as superficial charm, high intelligence, poor judgment and failure to learn from experience, pathological egocentricity and incapacity for love, lack of remorse or shame, impulsivity, grandiose sense of self-worth, pathological lying, manipulative behavior, poor self-control, promiscuous sexual behavior, juvenile delinquency, and criminal versatility, among others.1,2 As a consequence of these criteria, the image of the psychopath is that of a cold, heartless, inhuman being. But do all psychopaths show a complete lack of normal emotional capacities and empathy?

Like healthy people, many psychopaths love their parents, spouse, children, and pets in their own way, but they have difficulty in loving and trusting the rest of the world.

Liked his act, liked him even more on the Battersea dogs home programme. As many have already said came accross and genuine and a nice person.

Sad at his passing. RIP

"It's Not About You" is the fourth single by Scouting for Girls from their debut album.

The song was originally released in June 2007 as a limited release EP, and charted at #31 on the UK Singles Chart. In July 2008, the song started to appear on future release lists, and was re-released at the beginning of August. It managed to reach #67 on downloads alone, and reached #38, after the physical release was available.
